Petr Smetáček is a Czech composer, multi-instrumentalist and music writer from Slaný, focused on Afro-Cuban music and Latin jazz. He plays piano, sings and handles percussion in the project Latin CZazz - formerly known as Los Rumberos - which has been active for over twenty years. He is also the author of the book „Afro-kubánská hudba aneb mnoho příchutí salsy" and regularly lectures on the genre.
