Petr Brandl (1668–1735) was a Czech Baroque painter and one of the most significant figures of Baroque art in Bohemia. He was known for his altarpieces, portraits, and biblical scenes, characterized by dramatic use of light and shadow. His works are held in major Czech collections, including the National Gallery in Prague.
