Óperentzia is a Hungarian electronic band founded in 2005, taking their name from the imaginary land of Hungarian folk tales. The core duo - Gábor Bánházi and Tibor Domokos - weaves Hungarian and Balkan folk music together with dub, psytrance and techno. Their 2015 album Trance Ober Enz, drawn from Siberian archival folk songs, brought them wider international attention.
