Soft Touches: Lucie Rosická and Nikola Emma Ryšavá
Two Czech contemporary artists, Lucie Rosická and Nikola Emma Ryšavá, present their works in a joint exhibition exploring distinct creative approaches to modern art.
Nikola Emma Ryšavá (b. 1990, Prague) is a Czech sculptor and visual artist. She studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (2013–2019) under Lukáš Rittstein, having previously explored ceramics and wooden toy design. Her work features surreal, often anthropomorphic figures — grotesque, emotional, or macabre — rooted in literature, psychoanalysis, and her inner world. She has exhibited in the Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Poland, and Australia.
