Nidare is a post-black metal band from Berlin, formed in 2019 by members drawn from the city's underground scene - including musicians from Ancst, rýr and Henry Fonda. Their name comes from the Old German word "nidar" meaning "below", and the music lives up to it: blast-beat-driven drums, melodic riffs, and a sound that moves between screamo, sludge and atmospheric black metal. They release through Hamburg's Through Love Records, with their debut full-length Von Wegen arriving in 2022.
Nidare released a four-track EP Es laesst nicht los, ich jedoch laengst on the Through Love Records label.
The band released an official tour video for the song "Are we born just to glimpse upon the consequence of human life", filmed during the 2024 European tour.
Nidare released the EP Naehe und Flackern - three compositions thematically focused on various forms of hatred.
