Mucha s cymbálovkou is a live project pairing Brno punk-art rock band Mucha - fronted by singer-songwriter Nikola Muchová - with the cimbalom ensemble Friška from Vracov. They perform together as Pochcala Musica, a name taken from Mucha's cult song Právě jsem se pochcala, originally recorded with J.A.R. The project wraps Mucha's punk songs in Moravian folk instrumentation, producing a collision of genres that works better than it has any right to. Mucha has been active since 2012 and released five studio albums, with Nikola Muchová's sharp, sardonic lyrics on gender and everyday life at the core of the band's identity.
The band Mucha released a new studio album ADHD in March 2026, recorded in the Golden Hive and Sono studios in the trio lineup Mucha/Kočička/Almela.
Pochcala Musica performed in January 2026 at the Mír club in Uherské Hradiště, marking the third performance of this project.
In spring 2025, founding guitarist Petr Zavadil left the band, and the group performed for the first time as a trio, moving towards a more experimental alternative.
Mucha released a live recording Živááák, capturing performances at the Flédě in Brno and the Palác Akropolis in Prague.
Pochcala Musica performed in August 2025 on the outdoor stage Cross Square at the Cross Club in Prague.
