Miroslav Machotka

About

Miroslav Machotka (born 1946 in Roudnice nad Labem) is a Czech photographer whose work has been included in major surveys of Czech photography from the second half of the 20th century. He shoots on film with no post-production manipulation, turning overlooked urban corners into striking visual compositions. His two recurring subjects are Prague, where he lives, and his hometown of Roudnice nad Labem.
