Michal Mitro is a Slovak interdisciplinary artist and researcher based in Brno. In his artistic practice he transforms sociological imagination into sculptural environments with elements of sound, light and electricity. His work explores relationships between human and more-than-human worlds and the supposed friction between natural and artificial. In 2022 he was selected as a laureate of the Oskár Čepan Award.
