Matt "Doe" Muirhead is the trumpeter of New York trio Too Many Zooz, pioneers of the self-coined brass house genre - a collision of jazz, EDM, Afro-Cuban rhythms and punk energy. He met saxophonist Leo Pellegrino at the Manhattan School of Music; drummer David "King of Sludge" Parks completed the lineup. The trio built its following busking in the New York City subway, going viral after a 2014 Union Square video. In 2016, Doe contributed trumpet to Beyoncé's Lemonade and the band performed with her live at the CMA Awards.
Too Many Zooz released the EP Red Apple Gift Shop in April 2025, which includes the single Head Huncho.
At the turn of January and February 2025, Too Many Zooz conducted a joint Moon Zooz Tour with the band Moon Hooch across the southeastern and midwestern USA.
In 2024, Too Many Zooz released their second studio album Retail Therapy featuring Moon Hooch, Thumpasaurus, Lucky Chops, and Too Many T's.
In December 2025, Too Many Zooz performed the Caravan Tour, including at the Brooklyn club Elsewhere.
At the beginning of 2026, Too Many Zooz embarked on a joint Too Many Flooz Tour with the band The Floozies across the USA.
