7th Edition of the neZAvřeno Jimramov 2026 Festival
The seventh edition of neZAvřeno Jimramov offers four days of music, theatre, exhibitions, and lectures in the welcoming atmosphere of a café courtyard and historic church.
Martin E. Kyšperský (born 1980, Brno) is the frontman, lyricist and composer of the Brno band Květy, which he first founded in 1993 and has led continuously since 2000. The band has released ten studio albums and won the Czech Anděl Award for alternative music three times. Ondřej Kyas, a multi-instrumentalist covering guitars, keys, violin and synthesizers, joined Květy in September 2016 and wrote the string arrangements on the 2024 album 41 minut. The two also perform as an acoustic duo, giving Kyšperský's lyric-driven songs room to breathe without the full band.
Kyšperský and Pilgr released a joint album Chunta with Marek Doubrava and Petr Nikl on the Indies Scope label (January 23, 2026) and in March conducted a tour in support of the album.
The band Květy recorded an orchestral version of the song Můj parťák in the studio of the Institute of Musicology at the Faculty of Philosophy of Masaryk University; the arrangement was written by Ondřej Kyas.
Květy released their tenth studio album 41 minut on the Polí5 label on November 17, 2024; production and mixing were handled by Jiří Habarta.
The exhibition Ještě jsme tady jenom jednou presented paintings inspired by twenty-four songs by Květy.
Kyšperský composed the music for the theatrical performance Lidovky jdou do řiti at the Brno Reduta theater, where he also performs live with a small band.
