Martin Glaser is a Czech theatre and opera director and playwright. He studied directing and dramaturgy at DAMU, then spent many years at the South Bohemian Theatre - first as resident director, from 2006 as artistic head of the drama ensemble. Since 2013 he has led the National Theatre Brno, and from the 2028/2029 season he will take over as director of the Prague National Theatre. As a playwright for the Český Krumlov revolving-stage theatre, he is behind popular titles such as The Three Musketeers, Robin Hood and The Wives of Henry VIII.
