Lucie Nováčková (born 1981) is a Czech visual artist working across painting and textile art. She studied textile creation at the University of Hradec Králové and painting at FaVU in Brno. Her installations focus on the warp - the preparatory stage before weaving - exploring its material and metaphorical potential. Since 2014 she has developed the LaTence cycle, a series of large-scale, minimalist textile works.
