Lucie Dercsényi is a Czech choreologist, dance critic and dance therapist. She studied at the dance faculty of AMU in Prague, where she now works as an external lecturer; earlier in her career she danced with the Czechoslovak Song and Dance Ensemble and taught dance history at the Prague Dance Conservatory. For many years she served as editor-in-chief of Taneční listy, and she continues to publish reviews and scholarly studies - including work on the ballet output of Bohuslav Martinů - in Lidové noviny, Taneční aktuality and ArtZóna.
