Libuše Niklová (1934-1981) was a Czech toy designer from Zlín who worked for the Fatra Napajedla factory from the 1960s onwards. She created over 230 original toys, ranging from rubber squeaky figures and accordion animals to large inflatable ride-on animals such as the Buffalo, the Elephant, and the Giraffe. Her work is held in collections at MoMA in New York, the Musée des Arts décoratifs in Paris, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
