Libor Šmoldas (born 1982 in Olomouc) is one of the leading Czech jazz guitarists, performing across four continents at venues such as Smalls and Iridium in New York, Ronnie Scott's in London, and the Melbourne Recital Centre. His quartet was the first Czech jazz band to tour the USA, and he has recorded alongside George Mraz, Jeff Ballard, Bobby Watson, and Adam Nussbaum. He also teaches at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague.
