Ladislav Machoň (1888-1973) was a Czech architect who trained under Jan Kotěra and began his career in the cubist vein before moving through art deco to functionalism. He left his mark on both Prague and Pardubice - most notably with the reconstruction of the Klementinum and the celebrated Machoň Arcade. Alongside buildings, he also designed interiors and worked as a set designer.
