About

Konflikt is a Slovak punk rock band founded in 1990 under the name Azyl, renamed to their current moniker in 1998. Over more than three decades they have played over 2,300 concerts across Europe, sharing stages with acts such as Iron Maiden, Sex Pistols and The Offspring. Their 2006 album Sapere Aude went gold and platinum and won the Slovak Grammy (Aurel) for best hard/heavy/punk-rock album. Frontman Jury also spent seven years as the main organiser of Punk Island, Slovakia's largest underground festival.
