Kemadito Sound is an Argentine band based in Europe, rooted in cumbia and freely blending reggae, ska, rap and rock. The six-piece writes its own material, with lyrics centred on unity, love and community. In February 2024 they opened for Manu Chao at two sold-out shows in Buenos Aires and Rosario, and in 2025 served as his backing band at Poble Espanyol in Barcelona in front of 15,000 people. They are a regular presence on the European festival circuit, including Rototom Sunsplash 2024 in Spain.
Kemadito Sound launched their third European summer tour 2026, which includes Switzerland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Romania, Austria, Italy and Spain.
In 2025, the band performed as backing band for Manu Chao at a concert in Barcelona's Poble Espanyol in front of more than 15,000 spectators.
In 2025, the band performed over 60 concerts in 10 countries and won first prize at the street music festival in Ludwigsburg.
Kemadito Sound are confirmed for the Bardentreffen festival in Nuremberg on August 2, 2025.
