Kašpar Sternberg

About

Kaspar Maria von Sternberg (1761–1838) was a Bohemian nobleman, botanist, and palaeobotanist. He co-founded the National Museum in Prague and donated his extensive collections to it. He is regarded as a founding figure of palaeobotany and described numerous fossil plant species.
