Karel Peterka (born 1950 in České Budějovice) is a Czech singer, composer and lyricist active since the 1970s, when he toured with his band Peterka a spol. He has written over a thousand songs - for himself and for other artists. After 2000 he built the Česká muzika label and in 2012 launched Šlágr TV, the popular folk and schlager channel he founded and fronts.
