Josef Panáček is a Czech sport shooter specialising in skeet, born in Staré Město in the Slovácko region. He won a gold medal at the 1976 Montreal Olympics and became European champion in 1980. His sporting career is documented in a permanent exhibition at the Slovácké muzeum in Uherské Hradiště.
