Josef Mištera (born 1955 in Most) is a Czech painter, graphic artist, illustrator and animator who studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. His work spans ink wash drawings, printmaking, painting and book illustration. He founded and led the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, shaping a generation of Czech artists and designers.
