Jirka Skála

Jirka Skála (born 1976 in Sušice) is a Czech conceptual artist and educator. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and did a residency at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. His work - spanning text, photography and installation - keeps returning to labour, leisure and economic inequality. He won the Jindřich Chalupecký Award in 2009.
