Javory Beat – the Ulrych Brothers, Kamila Polonyová with Band
A festive concert celebrating the 690th anniversary of Uhřice village. The Javory Beat band of the Ulrych brothers headlines, with special guest Kamila Polonyová and her band.
Javory Beat is the electric formation of siblings Hana and Petr Ulrych, presenting their songs in a big-beat lineup - electric guitar, bass and keyboards instead of the traditional violin and dulcimer. It has run alongside the acoustic Javory since 2010; the original group was founded by Petr Ulrych in 1974, drawing on Moravian folk music. Over more than sixty years on stage the Ulrych siblings have earned, among other honours, the Silver Bratislava Lyre (1976) and the Alfréd Radok Award for the musical Koločava (2001).
Javory Beat and Hradišťan performed their jubilee 100th joint concert in November 2025 in Žďár nad Sázavou.
Two Prague concerts of Javory Beat with Hradišťan at the Hybernia theatre in May 2025 were sold out, with one of them broadcast by Czech Television.
For 2026, Javory Beat has planned an extensive summer and autumn tour, including concerts with Hradišťan in Prague, Brno, Olomouc and other cities.
In 2024, the Ulrych siblings celebrated a triple jubilee: Petr turned 80, Hana turned 75, and together they marked 60 years on the music scene.
