Jaroslav Sypal

About

Jaroslav Sypal (born 1958 in České Budějovice) is a Czech actor who trained at JAMU in Brno. He is best known for his comic roles, above all the grumpy Lieutenant Hrubec in the trilogy Byl jednou jeden polda (1995-1999). He also writes plays and song lyrics, and teaches at the International Conservatory in Prague.
