OPEN AIR Sudice
The fifth edition of the OPEN AIR Sudice summer festival features live music performances. The evening lineup includes The Latecomers, Jana Uriel Kratochvílová & Illuminatica, Rebelia, and Aldabra.
Jana Uriel Kratochvílová (born 14 January 1953 in Zlín) is a Czech singer, lyricist and composer - the first in Czechoslovakia to perform in the then-new rock-reggae style. Her raspy voice and extravagant stage costumes made her a cult figure in the 1970s and 80s, and a thorn in the side of the communist authorities; in 1983 she emigrated to London, where she recorded the album Bohemian for Polydor under the name Jana Pope. Since returning to the Czech Republic in 2003, she has performed with the band Illuminati.ca, blending melodic rock, art-pop and esoteric influences.
Jana Uriel Kratochvílová performed with the band Illuminati.ca on the Cargo Gallery ship in Prague (June 2026).
In December 2025, a Christmas concert by Jana Uriel Kratochvílová and Illuminati.ca took place at Prague's Rock Café.
In August 2025, she performed as one of the headliners at the Prague Pride festival on Letná.
Prague Patriot reported on the new album Ruby Rose Mayhem, which the band Illuminati.ca released shortly before February 2025.
The magazine Květy published an interview with the singer in February 2025 about her eccentricity and tolerance in Czech society.
