Jan Piskoř is the co-owner of Hotel Medlov in Fryšava pod Žákovou horou in the Vysočina region. He came across the hotel around 2016 while looking for a venue for his Prague dance school, fell for the building, and eventually bought it. He runs Medlov as a self-described "retro-free" nostalgia hotel, focused on preserving its functionalist and Brussels-style architecture rather than modernising it.
