Jan Borna (1960-2017) was a Czech theatre director, poet and teacher. From 1996 until his death he worked as a director and member of the artistic leadership at Divadlo v Dlouhé in Prague, where he focused on original productions and family theatre. He frequently wrote or substantially adapted his own scripts - shows like Kdyby prase mělo křídla ran for nearly 300 performances. He also led the acting studio at DAMU for two decades.
