Jakub Hájek

About

Jakub Hájek (*1994) is a Czech visual artist who has worked as a duo with František Hanousek since 2017. He studied multimedia at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art in Pilsen, then continued with a master's degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (Intermedia III studio). The pair make object-based installations that mix hands-on material craft with dark humour and an interest in industrial and cultural history.
