
Beauty Enchanted in Tones

Ivan Ženatý is a Czech violinist who launched his career with wins at the Prague Spring Competition and the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. He has performed with orchestras including the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Berliner Symphoniker and the Czech Philharmonic. His artistic development was shaped by Josef Suk and by encounters with Nathan Milstein and Ruggiero Ricci. Alongside his concert career he teaches at music institutions in Europe and the United States.
