Isaiah Collier is a Chicago saxophonist, composer and educator working at the intersection of jazz, spiritual music and the avant-garde. He has collaborated with Angel Bat Dawid, trumpeter Wadada Leo Smith and rapper Chance The Rapper. His album Cosmic Transitions (2021), recorded at Rudy Van Gelder's studio, pays tribute to John Coltrane's legacy.
