Imminence
Imminence performs at Brutal Assault 2026 festival in Jaroměř.
Imminence is a Swedish metalcore band from Trelleborg, formed in 2009. Frontman Eddie Berg doubles as a violinist, giving the band a sound that sits between atmospheric metal and orchestral arrangement. Their 2024 album The Black broke them internationally - sold-out tours on both sides of the Atlantic followed, and in June 2026 they signed to Sumerian Records.
Imminence signed a contract with Sumerian Records and released the single "The Sword That Never Bends", recorded with producer Drew Fulkem.
The band announced their largest European headliner tour - Europe 2027 - with August Burns Red as support; it also includes the band's first arena concerts in their history.
Drummer Peter Hanström left the band; touring drummer Mikael Norén took his place.
An expanded edition of The Return of the Black was released, featuring new singles and re-recordings with guest artists.
A commemorative re-recording of the debut album I was released under the title The Reclamation of I on the occasion of its 10th anniversary.
😴 Nothing scheduled with this artist in the near future.
