Hynek Alt is a Czech visual artist working with photography, video and site-specific installation. His work often circles around memory, disappearance and the physical traces left by a place. The project Fantom, created for the 50th anniversary of Josef Sudek's death, reconstructs the lost studio as both a physical ruin and a metaphysical image.
