Gavin Skeggs is a London-born jazz baritone whose warm, smoky delivery draws comparisons to the classic male vocalists of the American jazz era. He studied voice and composition at the University of Liverpool, training classically under Joyce Ellis of the BBC Singers while performing with the university big band. His debut album "A Portrait of Gavin Skeggs, The Prague Session" (2025), recorded live with top Prague-based musicians, covers standards from the Great American Songbook. He has performed at festivals ranging from the Montreal International Jazz Festival to Sea Jazz Helsinki, and sang backing vocals at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest.
