About

František Kinský (born 1947) is a Czech nobleman from the Kostelec branch of the Kinský z Vchynic a Tetova family, a dynasty with roots going back to the 13th century. Since 2017 he has hosted the Czech Television documentary series Modrá krev (Blue Blood), tracing the histories of Czech aristocratic families - a show that became one of the most-watched programmes on ČT2. He also manages the family's Nový zámek castle in Kostelec nad Orlicí, organises cultural events and lectures there, and served as the town's mayor from 2014 to 2022.
