Frankie & The Deadbeats is a Czech indie rock band known for their raw, alternative sound that has earned them the nickname "urban cowboys." The group gained recognition on the Czech independent music scene and received a nomination in Radio Wave's music export showcase project Czeching in 2026.

A music competition showcasing three nominated acts – indie folk band Ida The Young, country-punk ensemble Frankie & The Deadbeats, and electronic producer badfocus. The winner will represent the Czech music scene at Europe's premier Eurosonic Noorderslag festival in January 2027.
