Floor Jansen (born 21 February 1981 in Goirle, Netherlands) is a Dutch singer who has been the permanent lead vocalist of Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish since 2013. She started her career at 16 with After Forever, then fronted ReVamp after that band's 2009 disbandment. Her vocal range - spanning operatic soprano to aggressive metal delivery - has made her one of the most distinctive voices in the genre.
Floor Jansen released a solo single "Run" (REVAMP Music / Warner Music) on June 26, 2026 - her first solo recording since her debut album Paragon from 2023 - and announced the European Hytress tour for early 2027.
The Hytress 2027 tour includes stops in Antwerp, Paris, London, Prague, Warsaw, Stockholm, and other European cities, followed by a South American leg in Chile, Brazil, and Argentina.
In September and October 2025, Floor Jansen performed a ten-part theatrical tour "Strijdlust" (Fighting Spirit) across the Netherlands, where she spoke in Dutch about her battle with cancer, motherhood, and music career.
Nightwish released their tenth studio album Yesterwynde (Nuclear Blast) on September 20, 2024, which reached 4th place on the Dutch album charts and entered the Top 10 in the United Kingdom.
In March 2023, Floor Jansen released her first solo album Paragon, which stylistically moved away from symphonic metal towards pop-rock.
