Ferdinand Wilczek

Ferdinand Maria Wilczek (1893-1977) was a Czech-Austrian nobleman from the Silesian comital Wilczek family, a jurist and heraldist. Before 1945 he served as general plenipotentiary of the family's estates in the Ostrava region; after the war he settled in Liechtenstein and from 1945 to 1977 acted as foreign representative of the Liechtenstein Red Cross. He devoted himself to heraldry and genealogy, and served as chairman of the Viennese heraldic society Adler.
