Eyehategod is an American sludge metal band from New Orleans, Louisiana, active since 1988. Their sound fuses Sabbath-heavy doom riffs with hardcore punk aggression, anchored by the raw vocals of Mike IX Williams and lyrics circling addiction and social decay. Alongside Crowbar and Down, they are widely credited as founders of the NOLA sludge scene and have influenced countless bands worldwide. Six studio albums span their career, with "Dopesick" (1996) and "A History of Nomadic Behavior" (2021) regarded as genre landmarks.
Eyehategod announced an autumn European tour for October and November 2026, starting on October 28 in Prague and continuing through Germany, Switzerland, France, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands.
The band confirmed a summer European tour for June and July 2026, including performances at the Hellfest and Copenhell festivals and a stop at Obscene Extreme in Trutnov.
Eyehategod and Crowbar announced a joint American co-headlining tour in August 2025, which started on August 8 in Tampa, Florida and ended on August 30 in New Orleans.
