Dub Pistols are an English band founded in London in 1996 by Barry Ashworth and Jason O'Bryan, blending dub, reggae, ska, hip-hop, drum & bass and breakbeat into a sound that has made them one of the UK festival circuit's most enduring live acts. Over nearly three decades they have collaborated with Terry Hall (The Specials), Busta Rhymes, Horace Andy and Gregory Isaacs, and released ten studio albums - the latest, 'Enter The Sound' (2026), recorded together with The Freestylers.
Dub Pistols released on March 6, 2026 the album 'Enter The Sound' in collaboration with The Freestylers on their own label Cyclone Records; the album entered the British album chart.
The album 'Enter The Sound' reached position No. 9 in the British independent album chart.
In November 2025, the band released the single 'Back On The Circuit' feat. Harry Shotta as a preview of the upcoming album.
On June 20, 2026, the band announced the fifth Boat Party on the Thames aboard the ship The Dutch Master.
On YouTube, the band launched the second season of their documentary series Dub Diaries.
