About
The Prodigy are a British electronic band founded in Braintree, Essex in 1990 by producer Liam Howlett. Blending techno, breakbeat, big beat and punk rock, they broke into the mainstream with Music for the Jilted Generation (1994) and The Fat of the Land (1997), becoming one of the best-selling electronic acts in history. Following the death of frontman Keith Flint in March 2019, the band has continued with MC Maxim and Howlett at the helm, remaining a headline draw at major festivals worldwide.
