Dub FX & Woodnote is an Australian duo in which Dub FX (Benjamin Stanford, born 1983 in Melbourne) builds live tracks by layering his voice through loop pedals and effects, while Mr. Woodnote contributes saxophone and woodwind - also looped in real time. Stanford started as a street performer in Europe around 2006 and gained recognition through viral YouTube videos; the duo is now one of the most respected acts on the independent electronic-reggae circuit.
Dub FX and Woodnote released a joint album Open Secret Society through the new label 3rd-Eye-Q, which Stanford founded with his wife Sahidou Apsarou.
The album Open Secret Society was released as a full recording on YouTube on August 19, 2025.
The duo launched the European tour Open Secret Society Tour, which runs from September to December 2025 with guest Prezence (USA).
Dub FX and Mr. Woodnote performed at the Ruhr Reggae Summer 2025 festival in Germany.
