About

DOUPOV is a thrash metal band from Klášterec nad Ohří, founded in 2011 by former members of Absent From Violence. Their lyrics focus entirely on the Doupov Mountains region - abandoned villages, local legends and the wild landscape of the military training area in northwest Bohemia. The band plays in an old-school thrash style and appears regularly at Czech metal festivals.

    DOUPOV was confirmed as a replacement for the departing MÖRGHUUL at the ETEF 2025 festival (July 25-26, 2025).

    The band performed at the Plzen Parlament Club at an event with international participation alongside KHNVM and Greek EMBRACE OF THORNS.
