DJ EKG, born Miroslav Ecker, is a Slovak DJ and event producer from Nitra who has been active since 2003. He is best known for his Sunset Boulevard project - open-air sunset events held at historic Slovak landmarks such as Bratislava Castle and Spiš Castle. In 2015 he set a Slovak DJ record with a continuous 12-hour set under the EKG Solo banner. Since 2017 he has also worked as an event producer and PR manager.
Project Sunset Boulevard is coming to the Czech Republic for the first time - in July 2026, the event will take place at Valtice Castle.
Sunset Boulevard at Bratislava Castle in 2026 expanded into a two-day event - May 29 and 30.
DJ EKG performed at Nitra Music Week, where he presented the Sunset Boulevard project in a new urban festival format.
In 2024, DJ EKG launched a new project The Coffee Club together with Marek Mazago - daytime DJ sessions in unusual venues.
In 2024, Sunset Boulevard moved to Bratislava Castle for the first time, while the event at Spis Castle was sold out.
