Divadlo Špílberg is a professional theatre company from Brno, founded in 1998, with a focus on productions for children and young audiences. Music and sung text are central to its work - composers including Petr Skoumal, Marek Eben and Jan Zrzavý have contributed to its shows. The repertoire draws on beloved Czech stories, from Kocourek Modroočko and Maxipes Fík to Králíci z klobouku. The company performs over 200 shows a year and carries its own sound and lighting equipment.
