Depeche Mode are a British electronic band from Basildon, active since 1980. Now a duo of Dave Gahan and Martin Gore - following the death of co-founder Andy Fletcher in 2022 - they have released 15 studio albums and sold over 100 million records worldwide. The band fundamentally shaped synth-pop, new wave and industrial electronics, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020.
