South of Heaven Open Air 2026
A two-day metal festival in a former quarry near Prachatice, featuring an underground atmosphere and a diverse line-up of Czech and international bands.
Crystallion is a German heavy/power metal band from Siegsdorf, Bavaria, founded in 2003 by bassist Stefan Gimpl and drummer Martin Herzinger. The band built its reputation on a trilogy of ambitious late-2000s albums - notably the Crusades-themed "Hattin" (2008) and the Napoleon concept album "Hundred Days" (2009) - and has been performing with new vocalist Tony Sunclear since 2022. A sixth studio album is currently in progress.
The album "Killer" (originally 2013) was re-released in March 2026 on streaming platforms.
Crystallion performed a concert at Met Bar in Lenzburghe, Switzerland on February 8, 2025.
In 2024, the band is working on their sixth studio album and will perform only a few selected concerts.
In 2023, the band toured Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and Poland, including the Bongert Open Air and South of Heaven Open Air festivals.
In autumn 2022, the band debuted in a new lineup with Tony Suncleare as a supporting act for Serious Black at the Salzburg Rockhouse Bar.
