About

Cia PakiPaya is a Catalan contemporary circus company founded in Brussels in 2008 by Adrià Mascarell and Noemí Díaz. The duo combines aerial acrobatics - primarily aerial cradle and Chinese pole - with theatre and comedy, keeping circus technique firmly in service of the dramaturgy. Based in Catalonia since 2015, they own a portable circus tent for their newer productions. Their street show Shake Shake Shake has toured Europe since 2011 and collected five best-street-show awards.

    Cia PakiPaya will perform with the new show CORAJE at Fira de Circ La Bisbal in Spain (July 17-19, 2026).

  • 2026-06

    In June 2026, the ensemble will complete a creative residency at l'Estruch Fàbrica de Creació de les Arts en Viu in Sabadell, where it works on the show CORAJE.

  • 2025-09

    In September 2025, the duo performed with the number De a Dos at the gala Festivalet de Circ de Manresa at Teatre Kursaal.

  • 2025-05

    In May 2025, the group presented the show Shake Shake Shake at the Scenica festival in Vittoria in Sicily.

  • 2020-12

    The show Toca Toc won the Premio Zirkolica jury award for best circus performance in a tent in 2020.
