Chantal Poullain (born 17 August 1956 in Marseille) is a French-Czech actress, chanson singer and founder of the Archa Chantal Foundation. She moved to Czechoslovakia in 1982 for love - following actor Bolek Polívka - and never left, building a career across theatre, film and television. She is best known for the legendary stage and screen production Šašek a královna (The Jester and the Queen) and for her chanson recitals with saxophonist Štěpán Markovič's trio. In 2023 the French president awarded her the Légion d'honneur for her contribution to Czech-French cultural ties.
