Chandra are a Czech band from Kolín working in the space between doom, post-metal and sludge. They release music exclusively on Bandcamp under the tongue-in-cheek handle "dontlistentochandra", and their sound - slow, crushing and relentless - has been likened to being flattened by a hydraulic press. Their only release to date is a four-track EP from June 2023, whose Bandcamp tags hint at emotional and oriental textures beneath the weight.
Chandra performed on May 16, 2025 in Kutná Hora at the event BLACK DEATH OVER KUTNÁ HORA MOUNTAINS.
The band released a four-track EP (I, II, III, IV) on Bandcamp - their first and still only official release.
